Swimming Gala

A huge well done to the year 3/4 children who competed in the Swimming Gala at Bletchley Leisure Centre. All swimmers had to compete in three 25m races; freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke. Team TPPS came 7th overall out of a total of 15 schools – a fantastic achievement.

Harvest Festival – Food Bank

As part of our focus on Harvest in school we seek to continue our link with the MK Food Bank.  Many of you will already be aware of the good work of the Food Bank and perhaps already contribute to this charitable work however, we also wish to collect food for this charity on Friday 11th October in our Assembly.  We ask therefore, that you consider sending your child in to school with non-perishable food item/s as part of this appeal.  A list of recommended items is listed below, but the Food Bank is thankful for any food donations that are provided to help meet the needs of the people who need it most.  Many thanks in anticipation of your support.

School Games Mark

This is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. I am pleased to let you know that Tickford Park has achieved the Silver Games Mark. A big thank you to Lauren McBrearty, Marianne Fox and Hayley Holland for all they do to support children with their physical activity and sporting competitions.
