Aspirations Morning

On Friday 17th January 2020 we are planning on holding an ‘Aspirations Morning’ at school, where our TPPS parents/ carers come in and talk to us about the jobs they do.

This links to our Citizenship & PSHE learning in school, and helps us to develop aspirations for the future by widening our knowledge about jobs and careers we can have when we leave school – helping us to become ‘responsible, respectful, active citizens who contribute positively to society’.

If you are happy to join us for the session (or part of it), we would like you to talk about your work, tell us what it was that made you consider that job, outline what you needed to do to get the job you wanted, and bring in images, or equipment to share with us.

Please put the date in your diary, as more information about the ‘Aspiration Morning’ will be coming out before the end of the term.

Please remember that Friday 6th December is the Christmas Fayre. There will be refreshments and many stalls selling Christmas gifts. If you have pre-paid you will also be able to visit Father Christmas. The fair is in both Aston and Martin Halls and  as an extra special treat, our school choir is singing. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Year 1 Visit to Campbell Park Sculpture Trail

Year 1 Visit to Campbell Park Sculpture Trail – 22nd November 2019

Year 1 are very excited to be taking part in a fantastic sculpture trail as part of their Art and Design learning.  They will find out about a range of sculptures and learn about the artists who created them.  The children will enjoy a day in the great outdoors and learn about the physical features of the park as part of their geography learning and so will need warm clothing and suitable footwear.   If your child has ordered a hot meal that day, then they will be provided with a cheese sandwich lunch.
